Dr. Paterna serves as the League Commissioner and a head coach for the Milford American Legion 13U, helping guide the development of local athletes both on and off the field since 2015. In 2025, his 13U team captured the State Championship, a reflection of teamwork, discipline, and consistent leadership. That same year, Dr. Paterna was honored with Coach of the Year, recognizing his dedication to mentorship, sportsmanship, and building confidence in young athletes.
