Who is Dr. Matthew Paterna?

Dr. Matthew Paterna has been in private practice since 2004. In 2011 Dr. Paterna was elected by his peers to be the President of the CT State Chiropractic Council. Dr. Paterna is also a regular speaker at Whole Foods in Milford and a fixture in the business community offering numerous workshops and health screenings. Dr. Paterna earned his reputation both locally and nationally as the Chiropractor for 2 professional sports teams and as a distinguished speaker, coach and consultant for his profession and colleagues.

Shoreline Family Chiropractic & Wellness is a community/family based Health & Wellness office located on the West Haven/Milford line.  The focus at Shoreline Family Chiropractic & Wellness is providing and restoring optimal health with safe, natural drugless chiropractic care. Dr. Paterna and his staff specialize in the following areas of chiropractic: family and child care, pre-natal care, sports injuries, personal injury and injury/sickness prevention.

Dr. Paterna is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic.  Degree earned D.C, Doctor of Chiropractic, May 2004.  His undergraduate studies were completed at Loyola University, Baltimore Maryland.  Degree Earned: Bachelors of Business Administration, May 1995.  He is a devoted husband to his wife Courtney and loving father to Madelyn (7) and Miles (4).



Who is Dr. Shaun Briggs?

Dr. Shaun Briggs is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic class of 2011.  He has been an Associate of Shoreline Family Chiropractic and Wellness since January 2012.  Dr. Briggs also shares the same passion for Chiropractic and Wellness as he is a distinguished speaker in the community.

Dr. Briggs specializes in sports related injuries, as he has taken numerous hours of additional training to become a master of Extremity adjustments.  Dr. Briggs is an expert in correcting issues like: carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fascitis, elbow and shoulder tendonitis, frozen shoulder, trigger finger and many other extremity relate issues. 

He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from The University of Maine and is a devoted husband to his wife Becky and loving father to Landon (1).
